 program director

Laurie Goodman

After serving 14 years as the Executive Director of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College, Laurie is proud to join the Bard Room team as its Program Director. At TLC, she was immersed in the world of storytelling — its magic, and its power. She is now excited to have the opportunity to continue to share her skills with a broader audience including and beyond the law. She is delighted to stay connected with the TLC community and its thousands of graduates, and she looks forward to meeting more professionals who want to master the art of storytelling. Any Executive Director of a non-profit organization, any professional leader in a for-profit organization, legislators, elected officials, teachers and lawyers — anyone who advocates for a cause — tells a story. Those who are most successful at their work tell their stories well, understanding story structure, brevity, word selection, and authenticity. Jeff, Max and I are committed to bringing play and levity into our lives and into our work at The Bard Room. Please follow Laurie on Facebook and LinkedIn to keep up with the goings-on of The Bard Room.
